Zur Serie Strecke 2144 gibt es auch ein Buch. Es hat 80 Seiten mit 64 farbigen Abbildungen sowie einen Essay zur Strecke und ihrer Geschichte. Gedruckt ist es digital auf Soporset Premium Offset 120. Das Buch wird von mir handgebunden nach Art der "Preußischen Fadenheftung". Diese Bindung kommt ohne Leim aus, indem direkt an den Rücken des Einbandes geheftet wird. Vor der Erfindung des Bürolochers war dies Standardmethode, mit der in preußischen Amtsstuben Akten in Ordner gebunden wurden. Um das Design-Motiv weiter aufzugreifen, bestehen die Einbanddeckel aus grauem Manilakarton. Das Buch kostet 35€ pro Stück zzgl. Versand. Bitte senden Sie mir bei Interesse eine Nachricht!
The series Strecke 2144 (Track #2144) is available as a book. It consists of 80 pages with 64 color photographs and an essay about the track and its history (in German, but I can provide an English translation). Printing is digital on Soporset Premium Offset 120. The book is handbound by me in the style of "Prussian Stitching". This kind of binding doesn't make use of glue, as the spreads are sewn directly to the back of the cover. Prior to the advent of the office punch this was the standard method in Prussian offices to compile files into folders. Fitting to this design trait the book cover consists of gray Manila cardboard.
